Wood-Mizer EG300 Multirip Board Edger
The Wood-Mizer EG300 is a dual-function board edger and multirip saw that helps sawmills recover more usable timber from every log. It edges rough boards to width in one mode and rips several boards in a single pass in the other, and Wood-Mizer designed it to increase sawmill productivity by up to 30%.
Handling cants up to 60 mm thick and 550 mm wide, with a maximum cutting width of 420 mm, the EG300 uses 350 mm circular blades, electronic Setworks for fast blade positioning and four powered feed rollers. Its modular design makes it straightforward to transport, assemble and fit into an existing sawmill line, and it is available with a 15 kW or 18.5 kW electric motor.
