In just a few days, professionals from across the contract interiors sector will gather in Monaghan for an industry event focused on learning, networking and exploring new market opportunities.
Organised through the Irish Wood & Interiors Network (IWIN), the event will bring together manufacturers, suppliers and industry specialists for a series of site visits and discussions aimed at supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing across the sector.
Factory Visit at Carnehill Joinery
The event will begin on Thursday 12th with a visit to Carnehill Joinery Ltd, where attendees will have the opportunity to tour their two manufacturing facilities.
Participants will gain insight into how the company has integrated ERP and design software systems, including Crows Nest Software and imos AG, alongside newly installed automation lines used in the production of joinery and furniture solutions. These systems support scalable manufacturing while maintaining the flexibility required to meet individual client specifications.
Industry Insights at Combilift
On Friday 13th, the group will visit Combilift, a global leader in multidirectional forklifts. During the visit, attendees will hear from Martin McVicar, who will share insights on building a global manufacturing brand and scaling exports to international markets, with Combilift currently exporting to more than 85 countries.
The session will also include contributions from industry experts from the US, Canada and the UK, offering guidance on export strategies and opportunities for companies operating within the contract interiors and joinery sector.
Strengthening Industry Connections
Events like this provide valuable opportunities for companies to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging technologies and explore ways to strengthen the industry both nationally and internationally.
At Elite Woodworking Machinery, we recognise the importance of initiatives that bring the industry together and encourage collaboration across manufacturers, suppliers and industry partners.
Supporting networks such as IWIN reflects our commitment to the continued development of Ireland’s woodworking and contract interiors sector.
