About the Role
We are expanding our technical team and are looking for a motivated and dependable Service Technician with experience in woodworking machinery.
This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of industrial woodworking equipment while delivering high-quality technical support to our customers both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of woodworking machinery at customer premises
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software faults
- Providing remote troubleshooting and technical assistance
- Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
- Delivering basic operator training and safety guidance to customers
- Working closely with internal sales and parts teams to support customer requirements
- Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
- Previous experience servicing industrial or woodworking machinery
- Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and electrical systems
- Understanding of CNC systems and automated equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused approach
- Willingness to travel nationwide (occasional overseas travel may be required)
- Full, clean driving licence
Advantageous (Not Essential)
- Experience with leading woodworking machinery brands
- Knowledge of PLC systems and CNC controls
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g. Safe Pass, Manual Handling)
